Gransolar celebrates the inauguration of its new sustainable building in the Almeria Science and Technology Park (PITA). where the company was founded in 2005. The inauguration of these new facilities, which house the teams from ISE Energía, GRS Engineering, GRS O&M and PVHome is a significant milestone that represents an important step forward in its commitment to sustainability and innovation, as well as in its contribution to local and regional development.

The event took place at Gransolar’s Group facilities and was attended by José Cano García, president of ASEMPAL; Antonio Urdiales Matilla, councilor delegate for environmental and energy sustainability at the City Council of Almería; and Iván Higueras, CEO of Gransolar

In line with its commitment to sustainability, the building has been designed with cutting-edge technology, incorporating everything from intelligent energy management systems to sensors and IoT devices to maximize energy efficiency. Furthermore, aligned with a forward-looking perspective and a commitment to electric mobility, electric vehicle charging points have been installed within the building itself

Also, renewable resources have been utilized through the installation of photovoltaic canopies in the parking area, and a photovoltaic self-consumption system on the rooftop. These measures significantly reduce their environmental footprint and reduce dependence on the traditional electricity grid.
