Gransolar Group has obtained the certificate of registration in the MITECO’s Registry of Carbon Footprint, compensation and carbon dioxide absorption projects, registered and property. This initiative has been launched to recognize the efforts made by companies and institutions to reduce greenhouse gases.
This seal reflects the degree of our involvement and commitment to develop an activity that respects the environment and ensures the sustainability of all the players who form an essential part of the energy transition towards a model that duly integrates renewable energies.
“Our inclusion in the Registry is a first milestone towards our big goal: eliminating the carbon footprint we generate”, said Iván Higueras, managing director of Gransolar Group, who also highlights that these kinds of initiatives contribute to “the recovery of national forest spaces and ecosystems”.
